Bringing Trust Back to Home Remodeling

NorthStar Builds began with a simple idea: home remodeling should feel guided and trustworthy — not overwhelming.

After nearly two decades in the construction industry, working as both a general contractor and project manager, Tyler Christ saw how often homeowners felt ignored or lost during their home remodels. Too many companies treated clients like transactions instead of partners.

Tyler believed Loudoun County deserved something better.

With the support of his brother Michael, he founded NorthStar Builds to deliver a more personal, transparent, and high-quality home remodeling experience to local homeowners. With Tyler’s deep field expertise and Michael’s business leadership, their combined strengths shaped a company built on honest communication, disciplined project management, and handcrafted results.

NorthStar stands on real, hard-earned construction experience: thousands of hours in the field, proven knowledge across every phase of home remodeling, and a commitment to doing things the right way. Tyler Christ

Co-Founder
Tyler has been building and remodeling homes since high school, turning his passion for construction into a career rooted in craftsmanship and care. With a degree in Industrial Technology and years of experience managing design-build projects in Northern Virginia, he brings a hands-on approach to every job. Tyler’s focus is on quality, communication, and doing things the right way: no shortcuts, no surprises, just solid work that lasts.

Co-Founder
Mike keeps NorthStar Builds running smoothly behind the scenes. With a background in operations, technology, and business management, he handles everything from accounting and logistics to systems and client support. His attention to detail and steady organization make it possible for the team to stay focused on what matters most: delivering a great experience and a home built with integrity.
